Derby City Council's 'Council House' underwent a large redevelopment in 2012.
Architects Corstorphine & Wright had a huge task on their hands to bring a dated, listed building into the 21st century. The new building was designed to accommodate increased staff levels from 500 to 1900.
The new build has given a modern, clean look to the office space and has played a key part in the transformation of the building into the 21st century where it is now an asset to the community.
The FT10 auditorium chair was chosen for it's comfort, durability and integrated A3 writing tablet, the Wrimatic.
Customisable to room and space specification, the FT10 is suitable for radial layouts which feature in this space, with the writing tablet stowing neatly in the arm of the chair when not in use.
