Following a wait of almost fifty years since a cinema was last based in their town, Beeston residents welcomed the opening of the new Arc Cinema in May 2021.
Situated on the new Beeston Square development, the cinema forms the cornerstone of a multi-million pound leisure hub which will revitalise the town centre. This new site is Arc Cinema's fifth UK venture and features eight screens with laser digital projection and Dolby digital surround sound for the ultimate film experience. The opening night was eagerly anticipated as cult filmmaker Shane Meadows introduced a screening of his 2008 film Somers Town to selected guests and reporters.
The Arc Cinema prides itself on providing its customers with a luxurious VIP experience. They understood that to enhance their customers' visit even further, working with Ferco Seating was the natural choice. The Verona is a fully reclining cinema chair which is available as a single, twin or linked seat. Featuring an auto return mechanism that resets the seats back into it's original position when vacated, with a safety built-in footrest sensor and optional swivel table; The Verona is one of Ferco's most popular seats for providing a luxury cinema experience.
Arc Cinema director Brian Gilligan gave Ferco and the Verona seat a glowing review, saying “Now that I've finally had the long-awaited opportunity to travel from Ireland to our new Beeston site, I am delighted with the comfort and quality of Ferco's seats. I wasn't surprised though because our customers have been telling us how much they love them since the day we opened.”
Local reporter Roshan Chandy also praised the Verona reclining seats following his visit on the opening night by saying they were “so comfy you could fall asleep”. While we sincerely hope that not too many visitors are found napping when the film ends - this latest successful installation shows that when it comes to selecting luxury cinema seating, Ferco and their Verona chair are the perfect partners to have.
