How do you make the movie-going experience even better for young children - and their parents? That was the challenge within Cinemark Allen 16 Theatre in Texas, USA.

The new child-friendly auditorium, known as Camp Cinemark, is one of Cinemark's latest offerings.

The fun begins even before the little campers sit down—outside of the main auditorium is a colouring zone. One entire wall is an interactive colouring wall, which little ones colour literally with the wave of a hand and lots of paper and crayons. In one corner, a hidden nook reveals a bear cave which little monsters will love climbing in and out of.

Inside the auditorium is equally exciting. Overhead, strings of bulbs twinkle like stars in the night sky, partitions are fashioned out of rope and giant pine trees tower down from either side. Meanwhile the Ferco seating, in bright orange, yellow, green and blue, ranges from extra-long loungers to squishy armchair-style seats.

Camp Cinemark chose to use both types of the children's seat design - the Dory and the Aladdin to enhance their playful scheme.
