The Plaza Community Cinema is a unique community resource that offers dynamic film based education programmes to schools, the voluntary sector and the general public.
It is a community cinema run by volunteers and was reopened in 1997. The three-screen Plaza has promoted a range of commercial, limited release, foreign language and cult films and importantly it has developed an innovative range of community events designed to promote the social, educational and inspirational value of film.
