Empire Cinemas is a family-owned 100 year old cinema company based in Lebanon.

Together with Empire's appointed architect firm, DNA Architects, Ferco worked on the design and layout of their seating for the first ever cinema in Jizan province - a 10 screen cinema with a dedicated children's screen.

Non-electric Recliners

Within this exciting new cinema there are 728 seats including the ever popular Opus Glide. This seat is an ergonomically designed reclining solution, with a nod to the essence of Scandinavian furniture design.

The back and headrest are made from generous super-soft foam and fibres, creating a superior seating position.

The Glide's innovative sliding design responds to your movements to glide effortlessly into the most comfortable position, under your own body weight whilst maintaining lumbar support - without the need for a motor.

Children's Screens

The Ariel and Aladdin seats were installed within the children's screening room. These seats are specifically designed for a fun and comfortable application with young patrons in mind.

Filled with durable polyurethane foam, they do not lose their shape as easily as conventional 'bean bags' and the back and seat panels are joined to create one comfortable contoured cushion attached to the backrest - which can be removed for easy cleaning.

Front Row Seats

Designed for comfort and optimum viewing, particularly for tight viewing sight lines in front rows, the Lux seat provides the choice to recline to your preferred position.

The unique head and backrest design provides additional support and the seat has the option to include a motorised or fixed backrest available in three different pitches.
