Golden Screen Cinemas is Malaysia's largest cinema exhibitor, which operates a total of 328 auditoriums in 35 locations across the country. GSC also operates 73 auditoriums at 12 locations in Vietnam.

In the latest move, GSC has launched a theatre which is child-friendly - PlayPlus at IOI Mall Puchong is equipped with play facilities and offers a family-oriented environment.

Designed for the young at heart, PlayPlus is a new sub-brand for GSC, specially crafted to meet the needs of families and children.

This new and exciting movie experience includes features such as the PlayPlus lounge with direct access to the hall, a playground, slide and a ball pit to keep younger visitors entertained.

The cinema provides 80 seats of various types: Single, Twin, Cuddle Couch and the Ariel seat.

The specially designed 'cuddle couches' offer families the opportunity to sit together and are constructed to accommodate two adults and two children.

Ferco developed the Ariel seat for the front row of cinemas. The Ariel seat is comfortable and squishy - filled with durable polyurethane foam, it does not lose its shape as easily as conventional 'bean bags'.

These products are being developed for general release during 2019.
