Phoenix Arts Centre, recently revamped, plays host to Leicester's independent cinema, art, and digital culture.

After navigating a troublesome 18-month period during the pandemic, the Charity operating the Phoenix Arts obtained regional financing from multiple sources, such as the city council, to refurbish the building to protect its future and boost local tourism. The Charity wanted to offer Leicester audiences a unique environment to learn and experience a range of independent and mainstream films and art.

Following a multi-million-pound expansion featuring new galleries, a Stylish Café Bar, and a roof terrace - the Phoenix Arts also boasts a state-of-the-art four-screen cinema, using Ferco's superior comfort Paragon seats in five different colours, each installed with a silent mechanism tip-up seat.

As part of Charity's ambition to make inspiring film and art accessible to everyone, the centre’s programming means they exhibit up to thirty films across the four screens every month. Ferco was able to meet the requirements of accommodating audiences at scale and frequency with the installation of the Paragon 755 seating design.
