The University of Hull's Allam Building, part of their Health Campus was opened by Her Majesty, The Queen in 2016. The Allam Medical Building achieved success in the Buildings That Inspire category in The Guardian's University Awards 2018.
The building is home to the Faculty of Health Sciences, which includes the Hull York Medical School, School of Health and Social Work and the School of Life Sciences.
In this teaching space, faculty members are using innovative teaching and learning strategies that promote higher order thinking that leads to better understanding and an improved ability to transfer knowledge to other applications.
