The London Aquatic Centre is an indoor facility with two 50-metre swimming pools and has a seating capacity of 17,500. It was one of the main venues of the 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympics.
The centre was used for the swimming, diving and synchronised swimming events and after significant modification it opened to the public in March 2014 creating a lasting legacy.
Ferco provided the seating for the Zaha Hadid designed Aquatic Centre, using the versatile FCB-M seat ideally chosen for its aesthetics, comfort and durability.
The FCB-M is an ideal spectator sports seat much revered for it's contemporary design. It can be colour customised for any venue, indoor or out, and is extremely flexible being either floor or riser mounted. It is known to be one of the most comfortable plastic seats available with ergonomics at the forefront of the design brief.
