Old Trafford, the 'Theatre of Dreams', is home to arguably the most famous football club in world, Manchester United.

Since it staged its first game in 1910, the ground has continuously evolved and expanded to meet the demands and standards of each successive era. Today, with a capacity of nearly 75,000, it is the largest club ground in the UK. In 1965, in readiness for the following year's World Cup, Old Trafford became the first football ground in the Britain to offer private boxes.

By the turn of the new millennium, the stadium offered executive boxes on three sides of the ground and when it came time to upgrade the seating in front of these boxes the seat chosen for the job was Ferco's FCB-M. Designed by award-winning architects Herzog & de Meuron, the ergonomically sculpted seats in a modern hue of silver complement the glass parapets and chrome rails to create an airy feel of space and light in front of the box.

From inside, the apparently 'floating' rear row and the slim curves of the seats help to provide the clearest possible view out onto the pitch.

The phased upgrade project saw around 500 FCB-M seats fitted in front of boxes in the West, East and North Stands.
