PVR Maison is an uber luxury multiplex cinema, located at Maker Maxity in the Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai, India.
In collaboration with Studio Gronda, an international architecture & interior design firm from Spain, unique design concepts were created for each of the auditoriums in the multiplex. These include The Library Hall, The Living Room and The Loft – which has an exclusive ‘Bond-themed’ lounge for private movie screenings.
To further enhance these stylish and elegant rooms, Ferco’s cinema seating range was the natural choice. With superior comfort levels and distinctive, fully customisable features, Ferco cinema seats have helped to make PVR Maison Mumbai one of Asia’s most exclusive and luxurious movie theatre experiences.
A total of 727 Premium Opus Glide seats, with its smooth gliding mechanism, were installed across the three premium cinema halls. With generous padded foam upholstered in coloured leatherette, the Opus Glide not only offers superior comfort, but matches each rooms ambience and style. The seats were additionally detailed with the special embroidery of PVR’s logo plus seat numbering and built-in cup holders.
For The Living Room and The Lofts luxury auditoriums, Ferco’s Premium Verona Zero Wall were selected by the client. As each of these areas comes with its own premium food concepts curated by leading chefs, additional customisations like smart swivel tables and cup holders were added onto the seats. Special dining trays were also designed to interlock with the swivel tables, to prevent tipping over when food and beverages are being served to the patrons by the servers. These trays are also stackable to save storage space when not in use for service.
The Premium Verona Zero Wall features a built-in control panel allowing guests to sit back and relax by adjusting their resting position or call for service with just a press of a button. The cinema seats were also installed with a gooseneck light so patrons can view their menu with ease without having to strain their eyes, or interrupt other guests with their phone lights.
Ferco’s Premium Verona Zero Wall comes with safety features such as footrest sensors and finger guards to prevent unwanted accidents. An auto-return mechanism which sets the seats back into its original position when vacated, is also incorporated into the build making tidying and maintenance a breeze. Upholstered in half leather with special logo embroidery on the headrest, the Premium Verona Zero Wall is completed with wooden outer back finishing for that extra touch of exclusivity and class.
